We are excited to host Mississippi State University again in the Public Health and Community Development program.
It provides students with a unique opportunity to combine academic learning with cultural immersion.
Through coursework, community engagement, and experiential learning, students gain valuable insights into Balinese culture, sustainability, public health, and community development. The program encourages global awareness, cross-cultural understanding, and personal growth.
It is with immense gratitude and enthusiasm that I offer this testimony for the Bali Institute and its exceptional team, particularly Beni, Yuli and Riska, for their outstanding dedication in bringing Mississippi State University’s vision for a One Health study abroad program to life. When we sought a location that could truly embody the complex, interconnected nature of human, animal, and environmental health, Bali was our primary choice, and it has proven to be an excellent one. Executing a packed, highly specialized itinerary requires monumental effort behind the scenes.
The team's local expertise, warmth, and logistical precision ensured that our community-engaged learning objectives were fully realized. Because of their deep roots in the community, our students were able to engage in authentic, respectful dialogue with local Balinese people, elevating their cultural quotient and broadening their perspectives as future STEM and global health professionals.
The Bali Institute went above and beyond to deliver a transformative educational experience, and we look toward a continued, flourishing collaboration Suksma,
