Valerie Root has led adventure tours around the world to both exotic and traditional locations. She loves the outdoors and introducing women to new experiences while exploring local faunas, unforgettable views, and immersing in the local culture. Valerie’s passion for the outdoors extends to her business, For Her About Her By Her, where she provides multiple women’s retreats, regular hikes for women and reviews outdoor women’s gear. When she is not working you can find her with a backpack thru-hiking across State and National Parks or up the Mt. Whitney mountaineers route in the snow. She is an open-minded safe adventurer who curates a non-judgmental and authentic space for women to connect.
