Georgia State University Bali Program is a 2-week undergraduate student trip focused on the intersection of Culture and Sustainability.
We ran a successful inaugural program in 2023 with 20 students and they will be joining us again in 2024!
Participants of this program will be required to enroll in the following course(s):
- PHIL 1010 – Critical Thinking
Given the theme of culture and sustainability, the critical thinking course offering will focus on the myriad of social, environmental and ethical issues facing the communities on the island
- RELS 2001 – World Religions
Bali is perhaps most notable for its distinctive brand of Hinduism and its elaboration of ritual, architecture and the arts, which makes the religious studies course particularly worthwhile.
